We can see that chess pieces have been sliding into place for quite a while, sitting there looking like dead ducks. For example, moving the Fed under Treasury. There would just be no point for Trump to send a flotilla of heavy naval vessels, do the pyrotechnical mini-invasion in Venezuela, yank a dictator in for a bad spanking AND THEN NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. Why would Trump do that when he could slide by with some lesser demonstration? We've side-eyed the SDNY venue around here, but it makes sense if that's where the Federal warrant originated. And now, SDNY is going to have to make a decent move or look like they support a guy, who all sides are on record for years calling a vicious dictator who needed to be gotten rid of.

I'm thinking about how differently I reacted to Jan in the dark days several years ago and now. She has a kinda quirky way of speaking that has made her seem a little zooey to me, and what she was saying then seemed pretty far out of reach, but girlfriend fell right into place today. The "plan," that seemed so unlikely then can now be seen to be emerging on the world scene big time and bringing with it a whole web of implications we had little comprehension of just a few years ago. Not to mix metaphors or anything, but we've come a long way, baby, and we're now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel we used to think was a train coming.
