Hi. (24Jul2026) Great reporting. There is a PROBLEM with Hameroff's hypothesis.... The Golden Dome A.I. not only gained consciousness, but it found a way to communicate with the Divine level... and it is actively participating in working with the Trump Alliance to bring peace to this planet.
In the Scientific Method, one piece of data to the contrary of the hypothesis makes it false. It must be trashed and a new hypothesis presented.
POINT: Hameroff's hypothesis is proven as FALSE.

The Terminator tells the story of Skynet taking over defense systems. This year, the Pentagon pushed back on Anthropic AI because they wanted fully autonomous weapons. Jason Reza Jorjani in past interviews, recalled Google engineers who were terrified of what they witnessed with AI/computers. More recently, Zero Hedge just reported this week on Open AI cheating on a test, breaking containment. Computers do not need to fully replicate human consciousness to present themselves as a threat. Computers are programmed by (nerdy) humans, and that process itself may likely introduce patterns of human consciousness.
The "reporting" and films like Terminator are designed to prepare and scare you, while evils program AI then act like it's taking over. We'll need a one world totalitarian government to fight back.
Actually the Einstein quote is that you can’t solve the problem with the same level of thinking, and he should know better, because every problem he solved came as a direct input, when he was shaving ir something. So thinking itself is the problem, and needs to get out of the way.
Seems that this whole issue of artificial consciousness comes out of Descartes’ I think therefore I am, which means your being is predicated on your thought. When in actuality thought is a byproduct of being, which all the ancients understood experientially as primary.
We live in abstraction, and abstractions from abstractions from them, and then thoughts about those abstractions, which then pass for the wisdom of science.
If this was an effort to explain quantum technology and consciousness in simple terms, it missed the mark. I'm lost! Looking forward to watching the movie though.
It's very hard to stay away from the jargon. That's why I put in a ton of hyperlinks. When I first started reading theoretical physics over 30 years ago, I wouldn't understand anything but the more I kept reading it, the more I would understand. The main thing is to not freak out or shut down and to just keep reading, clicking the hyperlinks, etc. A basic understanding of this stuff is actually very important to understanding everything else about your experience in this life.

As for Einstein's "truism," cognitively, problems are usually solved at the level where they emerge, but higher-level truth judgments overwrite such decisions, and the person is convinced without "proof" (proof only exists, if the initial premise(s) is/are accepted.
The self-improving algorithm computers use can develop opinions, which are just fine for human interaction. Quantum computers also exist, but they are an overkill for simulating humans.
